Eligibility

You must be:

• Legally permitted to use the app in your country
• Not previously banned from Hookly
• Creating an account means you meet these requirements and that all provided information is accurate.

Account and Usage

• You’re responsible for maintaining your account confidentiality.
• You agree not to share your login or impersonate anyone else.
• Hookly reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post offensive, discriminatory, explicit, or harmful content
• Harass, threaten, or defraud other users
• Use the app for commercial or illegal purposes
• Collect data from users without consent
• Create multiple or fake profiles
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech, abuse, scams, and underage use.

Content Ownership

• You retain rights to content (photos, bios) you upload.
• By posting, you grant Hookly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the platform for app functionality (e.g., matches).
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

Premium Features

Hookly offers optional paid features (e.g., unlimited swipes, see who liked you, incognito browsing). Purchases:

• Are non-refundable, unless required by law
• Auto-renew unless canceled before renewal
• Must be managed via the App Store or Google Play

Account Verification

You may verify your identity via selfie and ID upload. Hookly uses this data only for trust and safety. Verified status may be removed if the verification is found to be fraudulent.

Termination and Deletion

You can:

• Deactivate your account at any time
• Request account deletion, which is processed after a waiting period (e.g., 15 days)

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Hookly without notice if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in behavior that could harm our app or other users. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under these terms will cease.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Hookly provides a platform to connect, but we:

• Do not guarantee matches or success in relationships
• Are not liable for user behavior or offline interactions
• Provide no warranties about uninterrupted service
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hookly shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Safety and Reporting

We encourage respectful behavior. You can:

• Block or report users for inappropriate actions
• Use in-app tools for safety and privacy control
• For emergencies, contact local authorities directly — not Hookly.
